Read the Red Cross Southern Arizona Volunteer Handbook (Adobe pdf format, 1.2MB) to learn more about the Red Cross, what's expected of you as a volunteer, our policies and procedures, and benefits of being a Red Cross volunteer.
Sign up for Red Cross classes through the Learning Management System (LMS). Please do not select Self-Register. If you have taken a Red Cross orientation or training in the last two years you may already have a User ID. You may also view upcoming Disaster, Human Resources, and International Services classes and call 318-6740 ext 129 to register.

Our now-weekly newsletter will keep you up-to-date on all that's going on with the volunteers and staff at our chapter. Read about the exciting things that your fellow Red Crossers have been doing in our community, and nationally, plus upcoming opportunities and events in which you can participate.
Tracking Volunteer Hours
Volunteers, please track the hours you spend supporting the Red Cross Mission! It helps us by reflecting the excellent impact volunteers have on our Chapter and community. It also helps us show growth or decline of the volunteer program (which can tell us if we are utilizing volunteers effectively and if they are satisfied), and it's required when we apply for some grants. Submit your hours now.

Volunteer Recognition Handbook
Recognition for volunteer services is a priority of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross. Review the Awards Criteria and Nomination Process (Adobe pdf format).
Chapter Driver Requirements
If you would like to drive a Red Cross vehicle, or drive your own vehicle on American Red Cross business you should complete the following three steps.
- Complete the Driver’s Application Form and submit to Volunteer Resources
- Complete the Certificate of Insurance Form and submit to Volunteer Resources
- Complete your 39-month uncertified Motor Vehicle Records Check with the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles (Cost $3 or complete in the office with your Department supervisor).
