Masters of Disaster

Masters of Disaster Now Available Online

Through a unique partnership between the American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter, State Farm and Arizona PBS (KAET), Masters of Disaster is now just a mouse click away. The Masters of Disaster program is a free student- and family-focused safety course that will help your family learn about, prepare for and respond to potentially life threatening emergencies and disasters.

Masters of Disaster helps parents develop a "culture of safety" in the home by providing 10 learning modules that help children better understand and prepare for weather-related, geological and manmade disasters.

This course is designed to help your family...

  • Take simple steps to prepare for any disaster
  • Learn the science and safety for earthquakes, home fires, hurricanes, lightning, tornadoes and more
  • Know about the disasters that happen in your region
  • Learn how to prevent burns, falls and home-related injuries
  • Recover from a disaster if one happens
