Classes for the Professional Rescuer
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
Geared for those who work in public safety, you'll learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, administer two-rescuer CPR, and use a resuscitation mask and bag valve-mask. This course also teaches the knowledge and skills needed to care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the use of an AED. Equivalent to American Heart Association "Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers." This class does not teach First Aid.
All participants receive the CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer textbook and pocket CPR mask with 02 inlet. All classes include a one-hour meal break.
Target Audience: Public safety personnel, lifeguards, emergency response team members, first aid station workers, students at police, fire and rescue academies, health care professionals and athletic trainers.
This class offers a 2-year CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Review
Renew your current certification and brush up on your CPR/AED skills! Shortened for your ease in renewing your certification, you'll refresh your skills and learn all of the newest techniques to save a life. Bring your current certification card, CPR/AED Professional Rescuer textbook, and pocket mask to class. If you no longer have your mask or textbook, you may purchase them on our website or at our office. This class does not teach First Aid.
Prerequisite: Current CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. If you are currently certified by American Heart Association, you must be within the first year of your Health Care Provider certification to be eligible for this course.
All participants receive the updated CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer textbook as part of the class fee.

Emergency Response
Geared for those who work in public safety, you'll learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illness; prevent disease transmission (bloodborne pathogens); and administer automated external defibrillation. You'll also learn how to assess vital signs, measure blood pressure, use basic and supplemental oxygen breathing devices, conduct critical incident stress debriefing, and EMS operations. Meets current DOT Standards for First Responders.
Target Audience: Public safety and military personnel, emergency response teams, first aid stations, police, fire and rescue academies, and athletic trainers.
This class offers a 1-year CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification, and a 3-year Emergency Response certificate.
